It is really sad and pathetic that the legal and justice system in South Africa is indeed very blind. I say this sadly as we recently have seen the murder, yes the murder of a group of young south african schoolboys in our local suburbs by the very disgusting and careless driver called Jub Jub. It saddens me that we face such day to day turmoils that a parent has to loose a child by the negligence of a group of individuals.
They have been given bail and are allowed to walk free, while parents have to live without a child. Justice is indeed blind, have they not seen the evidence, have they not seen the photo's, have they not seen the parents that have lost their children.
JUSTICE IN SOUTH AFRICA IS INDEED BLIND

Review - Wish Melville - World Cup 2010
Great atmoshpere, though can get busy and very popular in the evenings, service and food is great and they are the only restaurant thus far that has free internet. So you can take your laptop, connect with the rest of the world and have a great meal and drinks. Their fresh juices are great, try the carrot and ginger(healthy & tasty)
In the eve, great music and cocktails, the crowd is all sorts, locals and internationals, one restaurant i can say is ready for the 2010 world cup. The waiters and management staff are very friendly. It is on 7th avenue melville amongst many other popular restaurants, bars, lounges and good old drinking spots, great for sundowners.
Popular with the local celebrity crowds as melville is close to the SABC. So if u want value and great quality and service, this is the place, love it.
A definite Yay from me

My Review - Europa village walk
It was a glorious sunny summers day , when i met my friend Deidre at the Village walk, we decided to do a light lunch with a bottle of champers. Great bottle of champaign and went well with the conversation. Sadly our order for a platter (Which looked like birds food) arrived approximately and hour later. This was a platter for two!
I was shocked with the 4 items surrounded by some salad thingy. It looked ghastly. I called the manager and complained. His response, what can he do for me? . HELLO FIRE THE DAMN CHEF. The restaurant was not even busy. This was around 2 in the afternoon. Definitely will not go back again and will not recommend for World Cup 2010
The service from the waiter was great. The quality of food nay.#
A definite NAY

I have left the UK and I am back in ~SA
Its been a while since i been updating my blog, so much has happened since. I have moved back to SA to begin a new chapter in my life. So much has happened and will definitely be keeping you posted.
I arrived on the 11/11/09 to a chaged SA, looks good, but the under seeps with its problems. The service is so bad, there are so many incompetent people working in the wrong jobs. Very rude and some time very blatant individuals and no they are not all African. The roads and construction has caused so much chaos its unbearable.
But anyways, i am hoping to start a new job in the new year and i have decided to take an extended long vacation. What i have been doing in this spare time is furnishing my place and cleaning out the trash in my life. Starting off fresh as i would say.
Anyways, i have been checking out the restaurants, service and quality in prepartion for 2010. I personally will be going on vacation. I have tried a few restaurants thus far and will keep you posted as and when i have been to them, so heads up when u come here, take it as yay or nay.

Disillusioned
Oh my word, i am no songbird, but people on Talent shows are so disillusioned. Some even need a reality check. Where the heck did some of these people crawl out. Can the people around them, friends and family be honest with them instead of embarrassing themselves. I guess they do not believe that some of these people are not that good so they get them to face the embarrassment of the public. Reality Check Peeps XO XO get with the programme

Athletics
Did you hear about Caster in South Africa. How sad, that her own country Athletics federation did not do anything to protect him/her from the embarassing truth. What a disgrace to have to be an athlete from that country. They obviously have incompetent people working for the athletics association. With 2010 football coming up lets see what more surprises they have. XO XO catch you later
